I just bought a 2010 Pilot back in November. I've noticed when going over railroad tracks or general bumps in the road that the top black dashboard will shake or move. It's really noticiable on the drivers side especiall near the left dash speaker. Now that it is colder out it makes quie a bit of noise when driving over bumps. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I've searched the internet now how to take the top black dashboard off but I cannot find a single thing. I'm thinking a clip or something is broken. Anyone have instructions on how to do this, or any suggestions on how to fix?

Yes I plan on taking it to the dealer. Was mostly wondering if anyone else had this problem? I do like to tinker with stuff and if anyone had instructions on how to get into the dash I'd look through them and see if it was something I wanted to tackle.

My 2011 dashboard does the same thing...getting jiggly when going over a series of bumps (noticeably at the driver corner). Although the dashboard itself does not make any noise, it does rub against the A-Pillar and makes a chattering noise at times. I bought some "squeak reduction tape" at NAPA Autoparts (1" X 3 yds.) for $19 and I plan to tape and trim along the dashboard and A-Pillar when I get a chance this week. Hopefully, it works and I'll let you know although your sound is from the dashboard.

Dealer took a-piller off and packed some foam under each corner of the dash board by the speakers. Said they looked at the parts drawings and there is no clips on the dash pannel along the window. The foam seems to have lessed the movement, but it does still exist.

Thanks for the update. I figure that the shaking of the dash was normal. Glad that the chattering noise stopped for you. I will try the tape this weekend. I may also add some foam like Honda did for yours.
