Engine Mount Spark Plugs

Hi,
I took my 2005 Pilot in for service.
I was told that I need to replace the following:

2 Engine Mounts - $695
Spark Plugs - $220
Power Steering Pump - $685

I've never had these items replaced since owning the car. I bought it in 2008 and the car now has about 95,000 miles.

Do those prices sound right? I feel like they are really high.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't remember if I ordered plugs online or purchased them at a parts store. Either way they were about $12 each. Times 6 plugs that works out to $72. It took less than 45 minutes (taking my time) to replace the plugs - they were very easy to access and only required a ratchet, spark plug socket, and two 6-inch extensions.

Power steering pumps are less than $145 delivered to your house.

And engine mounts vary from $50 - $135 each delivered.

I can understand you might not to do the work yourself so check into independent repair shops. You bring the parts - they do the work. It's not a complicated or specialized repair (if it even needs doing other than the plugs!). I think the prices quoted to you are excessive.

My local Jeep dealer wanted $1,300 to replace pads and rotors all the way around on my Liberty. I did the work myself in a couple of hours for about $400 using Jeep parts that I bought from another dealer. They also thought the first dealer's quote was excessive.
