I have spilled something (?) very sticky in the center console coffee cup holders. I need to clean out the spill. Is there a way to remove the cup holder? I have checked my 2011 manual pages 180-181 and don't see an answer. I appears it should slide up to remove but I don't see a release latch.

I have had mine out for cleaning. If I remember correctly, the top part just snaps in pace. The soft "fingers" are like a gasket between the holder and the top that snaps out. At the bottom there was a rubber like tray that can be removed Again - all this based on a somewhat faulting memory.
