Blinking light on dashboard

I am a new honda user and have a 2011 Honda Pilot Touring. Maybe its just me, but I noticed that a red light now blinks on the dashboard when the car is locked down.

It is not the anti-theft light. I checked the manual and it says that the security system resets after 2 minutes, but this does not go out at all. I tried locking the car with the remote and with the key no change.

The other possibility that the manual refers to is the low fuel light, but the car is at half tank.
Maybe I didnt notice it before, but could do with an explanation of what is happening

It is indicating you are out of oil. ;-) ( joking)

Seriously it's just a little light to let folks know you have some sort of security system in the car and to leave it be if you are a bad guy. I also believe the engine and the stereo will disable if tampered with. You should have gotten some reset codes with your car to be used if the battery is ever disconnected for service. You will need those codes from what I was told and read.

You have the little blue light/cabin light on ceiling figured out? ;-) My neighbor bought a new Maxima last year and couldn't figure how to turn off the push on/push off lights that are also in the Pilot and ended up going to the dealership.
