About 5 months ago I took my touring in for brake work and for them to check the hard shifting. They couldn't reproduce the hard shifting but placed a software update on my car anyway. Unfortunately since that time the car now shakes violently between, what feels like, 1 and 2 gear and 2 and 3 gear. If i gun it when taking off, it doesn't do this.
I have, of course, taken it into the service dept 4 times now and they can't reproduce it. I test drove it once with them in the car. I felt it a little, but not enough for them to acknowledge the shake. Any suggestions on what this might be? I am very frustrated because the closest dealer is an hour away and it is a big hassle for me to take it up there. |

Is the shaking at the worst when the car is cold?

Rocky- It doesn't seem to matter, cold or hot. I recently took a trip to Indiana and stopped about half way through the trip. Off the exit, the car still did it.
xGS- It has about 56,000 miles. And yes that was one of the things they did when I took it back in. So about 4 months ago or so. No change. |
