My drivers side window no longer goes up or down automatically when quickly pressing the button.
At first I thought it was a fuse or something and then I started digging thru some threads and found it may be a weak battery issue and the auto feature needs to be re-learned. How could the battery be the cause of the problem, and why does the auto feature need to be re-learned? None of this makes sense to me.

When power us lost it forgets. Instructions on how to teach it again are in the owners manual.

I just followed the directions in the manual. After holding the window in the UP position for 2 seconds I heard/felt a little movement behind the door (mechanism resetting?). For the next 5 seconds or so I could not move my window up or down. Eventually it did respond, however the AUTO feature is still not working.
