After messing with my boat trailer trying to figure out why the brake/turn signal lights won't work I finally thought I should check out my 2011 Touring. Turns out the factory installed receiver was not working properly; nothing to do with my boat trailer.
After calling the dealer I was assured it couldn't be a fuse ( I was going to check if they suggested it) I made an appointment. Today it took them almost 2 hours to tell me it was a fuse! When I complained about the length of time it took the service rep told me they had to do all sorts of testing. It seems to me it should have been a pretty quick fix. Was the service rep just blowing smoke up my arse? They'll call tomorrow wanting to now my level of satisfaction and I don't want to give them a bad grade if I'm wrong. I really believe they didn't have a mechanic available at my appointment time and made the "all sorts of testing" excuse. |
