Default AC Blower Motor Issue

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum. I have a 2008 Pilot with the electronic climate control. Within the last day or so there has been no air blowing out of the front vents. There is ice cold air coming from the rear unit and the fan speed changes based on the temp setting in auto mode as well as by the manual buttons. The AC compressor is cycling on and off properly and is making cold air which is only coming out of the rear vents. I couldnt find any fuses for just the front blower. I have checked all the manual settings on the climate control and can't get anything to come out of the front vents.

I have searched some of the other similar threads but my issue seems a little different than others.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The base warrantee has expired.

Thanks
CM

I find electrical issues the worst. I don't have your year Pilot, mine is an 03. From my 03 service manual:

There is a blower relay that you should check, and I have two fuses, #55 for the rear blower (30 amp) and #56 for the front blower (40 amp), both under the hood. I can't tell if the relay services both blowers or not.

Next I would see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) that would point you in the right direction.

After checking those my next step would be to pull the blower motor out and check that power is being delivered with a volt meter, if so I would check the motor.

Good Luck

I believe you need to replace part #80560-S0X-A01 called a thermistor it lists for 133.00 . That is what caused mine to stop blowing and once replaced it worked like a charm. I did it my self and it is behind the glove box. rp the cabin filter while you are there.

Will you please post a pic of the part?

Does anyone know if it can be repaired with a $2 thermal fuse as can be done on the power transistor for the rear blower?

Here's the post on that fix:

Don't know if NJ08Pilot resolved his problem, but the attached link might be helpful.
