I got 2006 Honda Pilot which I bought it brand new back in 2006. Right now, it got 44,000 miles. When I drive, I hear a loud rumbling noise from the rear and noise occured as the wheel turned. I wonder is this problem from the wheel bearing or shock or tire? Please let me know. My car has only 44,000 miles. The noise occured as the wheel turns. If I stop the car, the noise stopped.

Then wheel bearings and/or possibly brakes. Seems early to have a failure in either but who knows...

Is it possible shock? Mine is 2wd; so no need to bother VTM-4 fluid. I did increase tire pressure to 45 and the noise is still there. I hope not wheel bearing becuase it is complicated to fix and expensive.

I don't imagine back wheel bearings are _that_ expensive or complex to fix, are they? Certainly not in my experience.
