Default navi system 2009 locked me out

Help! Battery died. Had to enter new pin number
For system. Incorrectly thought same pin number as blue tooth.
So after 8 to 10 attempts the navi system has locked me
out. Screen is black and nothing as been said
About restarting navigation System.
Any suggestions?

Have your tried disconnecting the battery for about an hour and the start the process over, re-entering the radio security code then firing up the Navi and re-entering the NAVI security code?

I seem to remember something about it locking you out for an hour before it lets you try again, something like that. I'm pretty sure the radio and nav don't actually lock you out permanently, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Thanks for the info theirishscion. Waited the hour and it came back. Fighting a dying battery and will probably go the Optima route like I did on the TSX. Just have to find the right sized one.
