I'm ashamed to be posting these pictures because my pilot is filthy, but I need an opinion from someone with more expertise than I have. After owning my 2007 pilot ex-l for a little over a month, I noticed a small gap today between the tailgate spoiler and roof. Id say the gap is around an inch. I never noticed it before, so I assume some weather strip or something is supposed to be there. Anyway, here are a few pictures. Again, please ignore the dust...
Thanks! |

My 07 is the same way. There is some weather stripping on the inside of the spoiler like yours. All the way accross the top except for where the hinges are. So, I think it is normal that way.
