Default Rats ate my vtm-4 cable where do i find it

Rats or something ate my vtm-4 cable (and i think the knock sensor cable)

I spent about 20 min looking under teh car and another 20 looking in the engine bay but i couldn't see anything that looked out of place.

I think there is a service bulleten about the soy insulated cables being very tasty to animals is there anyway that i can get a wire digram or a pic of where the wires are so i can at least confirm the damage?

Thanks

Are the cables really covered in soy? That one's very hard to believe.

One of the claims of the Pilot when it was first released, was that many of the petro--plastics had been replaced with more environmentally healthy and recyclable plastics.

Given the number of rodent eaten wiring harnesses we gave seen it may be the case.

If the damage has not been found, how do you know it is rodent damage and not just chafing?

I've pulled mice nests out of Land Rovers, Volvos, Chevys and Fords but not my Pilot....

Maybe I don't look hard enough. After all, how often do you really need to lift the hood?

I did some research and yes, wiring insulation and cable coverings are sometimes made of soy now to satisfy the envirowackos. And yes, lots of consumers are complaining about varmints eating them. Live and learn.
