Default wont start

I hope someone can point me to the right fuse. I have a 04 EXL that I was looking for a 12v source in the drivers kick panel. I found a unused connector with a white wire and a yellow wire. the white wire was live with the keyswitch off. I shorted it out. Now when I put the key in, it beeps continuously and has no effect when I try to start the engine. I have checked almost every fuse in the vehicle and can not find a blown one.
Thank You

If I recall correctly, there are three fuse panels on the 1st generation Pilot - one on the driver's side, one on the passenger's side and one under the hood. Did you check all three?

Thank you for the reply..I found it. it was the 50A fuse under the hood.
I guess when I decide to blow a fuse I pick a good one.

Sheesh... a 50A fuse? That had to be a heck of a short!

You are lucky you did not blow the ECU or some other expensive solid state electrical component. We all need to be very careful when doing electrical work on these newer computerized and thus, more sensitive vehicles.
