VAS on my 2006 honda pilot stays on, will go off when turn key off/on the come back on sitting still or sometimes 3 miles down the road. scanned with a snap-on ethos and got codes 61-1 battery voltage low, 66-1 brake pressure sensor failure, 68-1 brake switch failure,

Agreed. If you are running the original factory battery, get it out now, before it strands you in the middle of the snow storm.
