Default 2006 Pilot Driver's side Window issue

I bought a 2006 Honda Pilot used and the driver's side window has stopped working. The other 3 are working. So I know I need to take the door panel off, which I found instructions for. What steps should I take to trouble shoot what the problem is (Switch, Motor?, etc.) Anyone have any insight on this? When I initiate the switch, I hear a faint click, but then nothing and the window doesn't move. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here's some insight:Driver Side Power Window Failure

I'd take a look at the switch first.

Did you check the fuse? Honda has fuses for each power window. The drivers window should be fuse #1 in the passenger foot well.

The click you hear is the relay pulling in, so the switch is likely good. I would say it's a fuse, or worst case the drive motor is bad.

If the fuse is definitely blown, replace it and test the window a little, but before you move it too much, get some of the spray silicone lube from Honda and grease the tracks. In some environments, the rubber gets dry and can stick to the glass causing difficulty for the motor, which could eventually blow the fuse.

Good Luck!

Ya I checked the fuses and they visually seemed to be ok. I can recheck... I need to pull the door off and run my voltmeter across the relay and motor and see what is going on. At first it was the auto up and down that crapped out but it started working again. Then the window stopped going up and down all together and it worked again for a time before finally crapping out...

Did you ever get your driver window to work? What was it? The fuse or the motor? I have the same symptom on mine... I just hear the relay switch clicking.... I need to check the fuse first thing tomorrow....

Yes it was a bad motor and then the switch went bad... $600 later it is working. Damn Hondas!

Why so expensive? How much were the parts? I can't imagine a window motor and switch being $600.
