2012 Trailer Hitch Adaptor

Hey Everyone! Just bought a 2012 Pilot EX-L the other day and absolutely love it! I have a question. It came with a trailer hitch, do I just need to purchase the adaptor that plugs into the underside of the rear near the hitch, or do I need to purchase the whole kit which requires removal of the rear seat, etc... My dealer said just the adaptor but they don't carry it. Anyone have insight on this? Website and part #? My apologies if the question has already been answered on this. Thanks Piloteers!!

Also, my username is Pilot Knob, which is a town in upstate NY on Lake George which is spectacular. I grew up near there and felt the name fit. Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you all!

Yes it's been covered before. It was even touched on earlier today. The search function is your friend. Will find post the 32 stage instructions that you find on collegehillshonda.com

You have to purchase the whole kit... Search Trailer and you can see a few discussions.
I believe the 2012 models elminated a control box inside the vehicle that used to come preinstalled prior to 2012.
