Dealer Costs? - Honda Pilot

Hi everyone,

I just recently negotiated the purchase of my 2012 EX-L w RES (can't wait to get it!). During negotiations they threw in $500 towards accessories at dealer cost. I asked what that could get me and was presented with this list. It shows all the dealer costs for accessories (just subtract the labor cost). I don't really have any reason to think it is not accurate, but maybe someone in the know can comment.

If it is accurate, maybe it will help you all negotiate for items.

Thank you for posting this list. This will help a lot of people when it comes time to sharpen the pencil at the dealer table!

Just looked at some familiar items, but still overpriced.

Dead cost on the cargo tray is $67, they have it listed at $72 something. They are still making something off you but not much. I would be more pissed that they lied to you about it being "dealer cost". Make money, I understand that's how business works, but don't lie to me about it.
p.s. Dead cost of the all season floor mats is $128 so they were making a nice chuck of change off of you on that. Sounds like BS

Good info for the labor they will try to charge to install if you don't want to DIY.

Yeah dealer cost, list price and msrp are all BS. If they were true, then every dealer would show the same value for a given part number. But as we all know, this is not the case. Call three dealers and get three prices. Check three websites, and you will get three more prices.
