Default Looking for a shop to install power tailgate on a 2011 Pilot EX

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can recommend a shop in California that could install power tailgate option on my 2011 Pilot EX. Unfortunately, this option is only available on Pilot Touring model.

Thanks a lot!

Suggest you talk with a body shop. They have the most experience taking cars apart and putting them back together.

What's your budget? If you are trying to get the job done with all new OEM parts be prepared to spend somewhere around $1500. Then there's the labor to take the car apart and run all of the extra wiring....in the end you'll probably be at the $2K mark or more. You could save some $$$ by going the salvage route. To get an idea of the level of effort involved, look at this thread on an Odyssey retrofit.

Otherwise, I haven't seen an aftermarket kit that would be a cheaper alternative.
