Hi folks,
I wanted to share with you a problem I had over the weekend while trying to install the P2 brake controller on my 2010 Pilot EXL that I got from Etrailer.com. The instructions are pretty straight forward...mount the controller and then connect the prewired harness from the back of the unit to the gray connector under the dash. After doing so, I started the Pilot and tried to move the shift lever out of park

...no go. No brake lights, either. After some detective work and some foul language, I found the #11 stop/horn 20A fuse blown under the hood. Ran to Farm&Fleet for some spare fuses, checked my connections and tried again...blown

. I called Etrailer's 800 number on a Saturday and was able to get through to one of the gals there, Emily. She was an angel...kudos to them for having such great customer service. She gave me the wire-to-wire color connections as it was supposed to be. It seems that their gray harness connector wiring was reversed and was causing a direct short. After pulling the pins and reversing the wiring, I was a happy camper

. I called them back to let them know that their warehouse harness stock should be inspected for other defective harnesses. Anyone else ever had this problem?
