Just a little tip for those of you shopping for genuine accessories....
I was shopping around for a cargo tray for my Pilot today and I noticed that shipping costs were WAY expensive for that item (probably due to the sheer size). So, I went onto my local dealer's website and clicked on the Accessories link, which routed me to the Honda eStore. The price came in at about $72, which was obviously higher than the $60 I saw it for on a lot of online dealers. But when you factor in the shipping, it actually comes out a bit cheaper (or the same with tax). So, I ended up calling the local dealer to see if it was in-stock before I went down there. To my surprise, they quoted me $83 over the counter. I asked if they'd honor the eStore price, and they did. So, out the door, it ran me around $76 -- almost exactly what I would have paid online, and I didn't have to worry about shipping hassles. I just figured I'd mention it here -- if you're in the market for accessories, particularly large items, you may want to check out Honda's eStore and see if your local dealer will price match the 15% discount they offer. http://estore.honda.com/asp/logon.asp?bhcp=1

Hey thanks, I'm a proud new owner of a second hand Honda Pilot 2009 in good condition and looking for some accessories preferably rainshields and over-board carriers on the roofing.
I bought a replacement (OEM) for my problematic rocker panel on cpw as a replacement. The color varies though for that particular rocker panels but still, I go that fixed. Last edited by BiplanePilot; 11-09-2010 at 10:24 PM. |
