Default The new Hondacuraplanet has arrived!

The site is now live and worldwide!

Check out the new Honda and Acura Discount OEM Factory parts and accessories - hondacuraplanet.com !

The Specials and Car Care sections will be coming within the next day or so.

This site, is more than a parts and accessories website. To me, it is a fresh start yet with a familiar look and feel. When Hondacuraworld closed back in February, I was somewhat lost, because not only was it something that I identified as an integral part of myself, but because all of you have come to mean a lot to me. Some of you have been to my home, or I've visited with. Some of you I've known since your high school or college days, and now you've got a family and you're on your third or 4th Acura or Honda product.

Relationships like that, just don't happen online with vendors. I've been proud to be someone who many of you have come to think of as a friend, which is why I stayed on board on sites like this. I've been with Honda/Acura since the last Vigors rolled out of the showroom....it's what I know, and where my passions lie.

It was you, and your postings about my departure, that made this come to life. And I want to thank you for all that support and concern......because without that, I'd still be unemployed.

And with that, I proudly announce that new dynamic....once again, I'm open for business

Please include 2004 TSX A/C Systems as well. I'm at 101k miles on mine and not sure how mine hasn't grenaded yet.

Tim,

I'm looking for black all-season floormats for my 2007; they've been on extended backorder for what seems like forever. Your site appears to have them in stock. Is that right, or are you accepting orders and ship when they arrive? If arrival, is there an approximate date? The last I heard was sometime in May (and before that the end of April... and before that the end of March...)

Thanks!

The most recent ETA on them at this point is 5/31. Since I was out of the mainstream for a bit, I'm not sure what has transpired to cause them to go on backorder. I think they were on backorder when I lost my job back in February......

Oh, and one piece of news, our newest monthly special

Me too, it's great being back around

From those of you that have visited, I'd like some critiques and impressions if you would.....

Tim,

Hondacuraplanet looks great! ...like the resolution of the photos and the click through options.

One piece of feedback in terms of usability -- I wish there was a way to access just the accessories for each Pilot "version" [2003-05, 2006-08, and the new generation] via one click. I have a 2007, and it takes several pages to get to the first accessory that is available for this version (and there is only one "next" button at the bottom of the page). Same is true for our Acura.

I'm going to work on sorting all of the accessories to trickle down from the latest down. That's an excellent idea, I just have to subcategorize everything.....something which I can probably do within the month. Thanks for the input, this is stuff that I need to hear

Here's another area that I need input in. We've changed the paradigm that I worked with before, including the shipping in the item price, and then instead going to a lower price, and charging FedEx. With a pretty slick app, the website actually dials in directly to our FedEx account, and pulls our rates directly from FedEx, thereby giving the lowest price.

The one thing that I'm not sure of, though, is how the end costs stacks up to my other online competitors. Trying as always to have the lowest prices going, I'd like some input to those ends from people as well. Even if you're not going to buy anything at the moment, I'd like some constructive input in this area. This willl better things for everyone all around.

Thanks!
