Default Which bolt size for nerf bars??

I just received my bolt on nerf bar kit. It came with 8.25 metric bolts that say they are for 03-08 Pilot install. They don't fit. I went and bought size 8 metric and they also don't fit. Just thought I would check for opinions before I buy any more bolts.

Don't fit. Where, on the car or the bracket?

Which brand, did you go back to the vendor?

They don't fit the bracket to the car. Info says they are metric 8-1.25. I tried 8.0 and 7.0 and none work. The 8's are to hard to get more than 1/4 in, and the 7's are to small. The vendor is shipping me replacement bolts, but probably will be the same scenario. I just din't know why no bolts will fit right or easily

Try using an 8mm thread chaser and clean out the bolt holes. A 2005 should be full of junk and gunk imperding the threads.
