I saw this picture of a rooftop carrier that appears to have a honda logo on it.
I searched the forum here and google a bit but could not find another one like it, anyone have info on what something like this would go for and or where I could see or buy one like it new? Appears to have that honda logo so I was assuming it was a honda product vs some aftermarket. I have the two main bars but no cross bars, could this be set on the roof directly (pad under it) then strapped to the two side rails vs being mounted on the crossbars? Bill

Ok Think i found it,
http://www.bernardiparts.com/Honda-R...0-TA1-100.aspx seems to be something id use nothing super heavy, just backpacks, pillows etc for overnight trips (keep the bulk out of the seating areas). I do have the sidebars but no crossbars, has anyone ever just laid a thin mat down (I have 1/4 inch rubber mats I could easily lay one down to protect roof,), then put carrier up and strap to side rails or is this a really bad idea to even think about?
