Default Halo headlights(56k beware! loaded with pics!)

Has anyone tried these out on the first gen pilots(03-05)? I'm wondering how they look in person. I might consider getting some since I'm planning to retrofit my 03 headlights with bi-xenon projectors. Anyone have any exp on that too? The parking/daytime light on the 03-06 headlights look like they might be able to squeeze some smaller size projectors in there

I know one of the members here, josey92, has them on his 06...

For those who don't know what i'm talking about, here are some pics
the last pics without tags are from josey92 himself...

What the heck is with the infatuation that owners have with these halo lights? The only place that these halo lights look good is on Bimmers.

i prefer the new audi-style white LED daytime lights...

if only there was an easy way to incorporate them into the pilot's housing. anyways, regarding retrofitting with projectors, i would try to find a set of S2000/TSX/TL HID projectors and retro'ing those into the housings. since they're made for HID's, they should have optimal beam pattern and cutoff.

hell yea dude
the audi style LEDs are ftw...

I'm planning on getting some fx35 projectors since they're bi xenon allowing me to have low and high beam from the projector itself, but TL projectors are pretty big considering the pilot's headlight housing.

I thought of getting the 06-08 model, my self but it may take days to take everything apart and puting it back

I like how the Halo angel eyes looks
except that the might wear after time and look ugly..uneven in color..
