Default Trailer Wiring And Hitch Install

Installation of my wiring harness on my 2003 EX-L RES (Salty Cleveland vehicle).

Unfortunately the Pilot is 6 years old so my trailer hitch mounting holes were rusted into oblivion. I will have a local shop read thread the holes next week.

Where in Cleveland are you located? I live in North Ridgeville. Where did you purchase your hitch and wiring?

Here is what I posted on another thread - should answer questions.....Im in Fairview. Im taking my Pilot to the shop this morning to get my passenger side mounting holes re-tapped and my new tires installed ($385 shipped) 4 new GoodYear Integrity's from www.tires.com

Below is my post

I just bought a uhaul trailer from a company on Ebay http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/capandhitch/ $137 free shipping. Tubular design very sound. I am awaiting my wiring harness from http://www.handa-accessories.com/ . It is OEM and was $43 shipped ($80 from Honda). I am debating whether or not to get the trans and power steering coolers. HandA Accessories has them, again OEM, for about $285 total less shipping. The instructions are in pdf format right on their site. If you can change your oil you should be able to install the coolers.
I am planning to tow my 20' boat (under 2500 lbs w/trailer). And also want to get a 4 bike carrier which slides into the hitch.
ANYONE ELSE HAVE ADVICE ON THE COOLERS?

Jon in Cleveland

Two thoughts:

One to tow you need to install the tranny and power steering coolers as well.

Two: I can't believe anyone goes for the GYs. To many tires out there that are far better and safer for you and your family.

Yeah! You should use something else other than GYs.

Still have those Goodyears - rotated every oil change, great tires. One got a screw in one of them which was fixed for $7. 30k on them too.
