I have a 2003 Pilot, two large dogs, a jogging stroller I keep in the car and two kids.
I have been searching for a cargo barrier of some sort that is for more than "lightweight" objects. I have tried the pressure mount 4 bar pet barrier and a hook and loop type mesh barrier. The hook and loop tabs were strong enough that they stayed attached to each other, but the adhesive peeled off the plastic or the strings attached to the mesh pulled off. Any ideas for something that will keep a large jogging stroller or dog from becoming a projectile in an accident other than tethering it down? |

My primary cargo is a two seater jogging stroller, an 80 lb coonhound and a 60 lb pit bull. The dogs do have seatbelt harnesses that they usually wear in the 3rd row seats. |

I second the Honda cargo net. Its your best bet. I've got it, and use it exactly for the same reasons you want one. Its very well made, and to tell you the truth, you could probably throw a brick into it without it breaking. However, asking it to stop an 80lb dog may be a bit much, but I don't think you'll find anything better.
