Wilsons pads just plain rock. I live in So cal and the heat does nothing to them. I put 303 on the rubber to keep the UV off and the color nice and black but if anything they get more flexible and flatter when they get hot. The material and adhesive are top grade, your Pilot might wear our before Wilsons Pad set does

Also, wwong would you or have you made pads for the celphone holder? my cel is too big to fit with a rubber piece installed but too small without the rubber piece. also my cel rocks back and forth on the road. Do you custom make something like this? Thanks.

Btw, i have a 06 EXL-NAVI
They shouldn't move when they get hot if it is applied right. When I installed my pad over my sliding door, I initially placed it wrong and then partially pulled 2 corners up and stretched them to fit. Well the next day when it got hot, those corners moved back to their original position. Not a big deal, but its not perfect, so it bothers me everytime I notice it.

Just to be clear ... Wilson's pad fit perfectly. My statements above should be considered "install tips".

BTW, Wilson, can I buy just the piece that fits over the sliding door?

0804, I have an extra piece that I didn't use. Its the one that fits in the cubby hole. It may solve your cell phone problem. Its yours if you PM me your address.

0804 - I've been selling these pads since 2003. Not one person has complained about pads wearing out or lifting. I even had one person who asked to buy two sets of console pads in case the pads wore out. I assured them that all they needed was one set.

Pads have been sold to people living in all types of weather conditions from extreme cold to extreme heat. I'm pretty confident you will not have any problems.

As for the cell phone holder, I can send you an extra piece of foam pad that you can cut to fit around the cell phone holder. No extra charge!

Here is a link to everything I currently make for the Pilot.

2muchfun - My pads fits all 2003 to 2006 Pilots.

blowe - PM me with your address and I will send you a sliding lid replacement at no charge.

Hi Wilson,

Just received my order today. Noticed there is an extra pad in the package by itself, with no label on it. Can you tell me what this is for?

Thanks

I think you told me that you had the EX model. So, I thought you needed this pad.

Default Love 'em!

Ordered on a Friday night (paypal), sent on a Saturday, and received that Tuesday. Installed perfectly in less than 15 minutes (only because I was going for perfection). I'm 100% satisfied with Wilson's pads. They fit so perfectly, one could argue they're stock just by looking at them.

Wilson, how do you get the perfect cuts? That isn't a scissor job.

I agree with a previous post. This is the first accessory every Pilot owner should get.

Thumbs up Console Pad Set

Just bought a new 2006 Pilot and loved the hugh console area. Only problem was that things slid too easily on the smooth surface. Was thinking of using tool drawer mats to correct this.
Saw info about Wilson's console pad set on HONDAPILOT.ORG and ordered a set on eBay.
They fit perfectly and are easy to install. Highly recommend them to anyone with a Pilot. Going to check out his other products.

Thanks Wilson!
