Can anyone give me the catalog number / part number for a brighter replacement bulb for my 2005 Pilot? I saw the web page below but I'm not sure if it's a brighter bulb. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just put the Hoen bulbs in my Pilot based upon a recommendation from a friend. They are great and not "too blue." They are similar to the HID lights on my Lexus. The web site is www.hoen-usa.com
The best part is they were under $50 including shipping. Good luck!

I replaced my Silverstars H4 bulbs w/ H4 Eurodezigns bulbs (6000 K) that I bought from e-bay. Check here if you want to get the eurodezigns bulbs.
BTW, welcome to h-p.org.

The Pilot comes from the factory fitted with Philips LongerLife bulbs. [http://www.nam.lighting.philips.com/...longerlife.php] Before you consider buying any blue-tinted bulbs, read this article: [http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...e/bad/bad.html]. Higher-output bulb options are: I. +30% bulbs Sylvania Xtravision or Philips Hi-Visibility. The Sylvania Xtravision can be found at such stores as Wal-Mart, Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts. AutoZone sells the Philips Hi-Visibility bulb. [http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...ce/Xtravision/] [http://www.nam.lighting.philips.com/...visibility.php]. II. +50% bulb Philips Vision-Plus. AutoZone will be stocking the Vision-Plus series in the very near future. [http://www.nam.lighting.philips.com/...visionplus.php]. |

Or you can buy the European spec Osram Silverstars ( +50 bulbs ) here, with free shipping to the U.S and Canada. I've had them in for over two months now, great bulbs. They are not the same bulbs as the Silverstars sold in Canada and the U.S.

Hi folks:
Just went thru all the threads/posts looking for the ideal, brightest, non tinted relacement bulbs for my '03 Pilot. It seems the more I read and feel closer to a decision the more confusing it gets. So, yet again, I come to you all. What is the groups consensus on the ideal replacement clear, white bulb without any tinting whatsoevar. |

But I do know what's best (Because I am the group's designated Know-It-All). I would go with Phillips, Osram, or Hella +50% European bulbs. Second choice would be PIAA, but they are over priced. Third Choice would be Phillips, Osram, or Hella +30% bulbs, or Phillips, Osram, or Hella high brightness US bulbs.
