I have searched through the various Zaino threads & the Zaino website in an effort to put together an easy-to-follow, step-by-step Zaino list. I don't want to make a weekend project out of this but would like to do a reasonable job. Please let me know if this sounds right.
1) Wash vehicle with Dawn, dry with white 100% cotton, made in USA towel. 2) Z-18 clay bar step - Mix 1/2 capful of Z-7 with 12 oz. of water in spray bottle. Use this spray as a lubricant while claying. After claying, rinse with water and re-dry (or wash car with Zaino Z-7 Wash, then dry). 3) Z-2 application step - First, mix 2 oz. of Z-2 with approximately 8 drops of ZFX (in order to speed drying time). Apply this mixture very sparingly with Zaino applicator pad. Allow polish to haze over (approx. 20 minutes depending on conditions). Buff off with clean towel. 4) Z-6 application step - Spray light mist of Z-6 & wipe off immediately with clean towel. 5) Repeat steps 4 & 5 as desired always finishing with Z-6 (gloss enhancer). |

Id take that mix you made and keep waxing the vehicle until you run out. Or at least do it 2-4 times. It doesnt have a long shelf life so use it. The more you wax the better the shine gets.
Just wax it, let it dry, wipe it off, wax it, let it dry , and wipe it off. then if you want use the z6 spray at the end.

Having used Zaino before, you are on the right track. I'd use Z6 between each application of Z2. It helps enhance the shine and makes it easier to apply and remove additional coats of Z2.

The entire process seems soooo time counsuming the first time. However, once you've spent the time on the first 5 hours (roughly) you'll be set to go. After that whenever you wash with their soap, you simply dry it and quickly spray and wipe the vehicle down panel by panel with up and down motions. It may take 5 minutes for this spray and wipe but the rewards are incredible. I did the first clay/polish a year ago and in the spring (March) when I did the reapplication, the vehicle was great. It truly gives a wet look to your car and everyone will look and comment. When I brought my truck in for service, the Sales Manager came out and stood there amazed at how good the truck looked with the wet look.
Enjoy!!!
