Wink I got in a little trouble last weekend (TIC)

I guess I've been spending a little too much time with the Pilot. Spent about 3 hours on Sunday washing, cleaning, waxing, etc...

Why so much time? I've wondered this myself. Could it be:
A) The Pilot is just so darn big it takes forever to clean it?
B) I still haven't gotten over the "New Car" thing yet?
C) This forum makes me overly excited about my Pilot and I feel the need to take extra good care of it?

I call it "Driveway Therapy" or "Garage Therapy". Three hours isn't that bad.

"Zen and the Art of Pilot Care"? I don't know about the rest of the board, but cleaning my vehicle(s) has always been very therapeutic...

I agree, I love to see my Black Beauty shine and I don't mind taking 2+ hours to get it that way. But in my case it's the wifes car so she doesn't mind either. DOH!

It's all of the above. Don't sweat it... 3 hours is nothing. One time I spent 6 hours washing and waxing my Toyota Tacoma truck, and that was just cleaning the outside. I was too pooped to do the inside as well that day!

My wife complains that I don't wash the Pilot or the othe cars enough ever since we moved the new house.

I installed a "0" maintenance yard (front and back - No Lawn!!! even left the mower at the old house) My habit was to wash the cars after I mowed the lawns, No Lawns, No Mow,--- No Mow, No Wash. It made sense to me. It didn't to my wife. Go figure.

Default It's never too clean.

My wife's refrain is: "You're either washing that da.... car or on the computer!"

That's because its not healthy to get too focused on just one thing.

I like that response, I hope I can remember it next time I get the same complaint from my wife.
