Post Dashboard scratches & scuffs

Hello to everyone! Long time reader/first time poster to the discussion board...
I wanted to ask if anyone had any advice/suggestions/recommended products for removing light scratches and scuffs from the dash. I was looking at using a plastic polish such as the Novus Plastic Polish system (http://www.noscratch.com/novus/), but wanted to know first if anyone had already dealt with this problem.
Love the board and the knowledge base that it provides, it was a real help in making my purchase decision!

If the scratches are light, maybe you can use that product but if the scratches are very deep, it's better for you to have it done by a professional detailer.

The scratches and scuffs I have are light, but bothersome nonetheless. I'd be curious as to what product/technique a professional detailer would use...

The detailers usually manually mix a batch of vinyl paint and spray it to the dashboard/trim.

I wouldn't recommend using a plastic polish on the dash. At least one member had success get a scratch repaired at Dr. Vinyl. Click that link to go to Dr. Vinyl of Central Virginia, and get an estimate over the phone for a dash repair.

Great user name, BTW!

GO HOOS!
I'll be heading to Richmond tomorrow for the NASCAR race. Thanks to XM Radio's new channels, though, I'll be listening to the game on my XM Boombox while tailgating in the parking lot waiting for the race to start.

WAHOOWA!

jay, sounds like the next best thing to being at the game; should be a great race under the lights in Richmond, though!

Not to get too far off-thread, but who's your driver (if you have one)?
