Resin and Wax Stackup - Honda Pilot

Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone out there had tried a polymer/resin base and wax top layer, like Zaino + S100 or Liquid Glass + Meguiar's and how it ended up working out. I would think that having the resin base with the wax on top would give it a really nice shine, but as I'm no polymer chemist, I cannot predict any destructive interactions between the two. I would think that the carnuba would be pretty non-reactive, though.

Zaino with an S100 topper is my favorite look. Deep, warm, and reflective; it's a great combo. A polymer base w/a carnauba topper is kosher and IMO worthwhile.

The only drawback is that the S100 has to come off in order to layer more coats of the Z. You can either remove it w/Dawn, or just wait 6-8 weeks for the carnauba to wear off anyway. I do the latter.

I use both Klasse AIO and High Gloss sealant on all my vehicles. I apply a good carnauba wax like the P21S on top of it.
