Default Klasse AIO - Easily Achieved Exceptional Results

There is a shelf in my garage where I've got around 10 different car waxes/polishes I've tried over the years. I had settled on Zymol Cleaner/Wax a couple of years ago since it seemed to last several months and did a good job of taking care of little paint imperfections and left a nice shine. The only problem was the white dust it created on my black cars, and sometimes it was hard to achieve a consistent shine without streaking.

Here comes Klasse AIO. I just recently purchased a BMW and discovered that a lot of "those people" use Klasse. I tried it on my black BMW, and while I can't vouch for its longevity yet (it's supposed to last for at least 6 months), the ease with which it is applied and the shine I achieved was amazing. I can't imagine anything being easier to apply. It's a synthetic acrylic wax that is supposed to give long lasting protection. I've also read that topping it off with a pure carnuba (I'm going to use S100) will give it an even wetter look. One of the great things about the Klasse is that it won't stain rubber or plastic pieces, so you don't have to worry about getting it on your moldings and such. It's actually recommended that you treat the headlights and windows with the stuff. It will prevent the plastic lenses from yellowing over time.

Anyway, I'd already waxed my Pilot with Zymol this spring, but I'm definitely going to use the Klasse this fall.

Where'd you find the Klasse, and at what $$ for how much of the stuff?

If you do a google search, you'll find lots of places that sell it online. I don't know if you'll find it in stores.

10oz was $17. You use just a little, so it goes a long way.

Forgot to mention...

Use it on your wheels and it will make it easier to clean off the brake dust. This isn't so much a problem with Pilots, but is a REAL problem with BMWs.

guitarman - After applying/polishing with AIO, you should apply a high gloss synthetic polymer like Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. The final application will be to put a good carnauba wax like a P21S.

I debated using the Klasse HGSG, but read that it wasn't necessary and could be difficult to remove. What has been your experience with the HGSG? Is it as easy to apply as the AIO? Does it make a difference in the shine or durability?

By the way, S100 is reported to be the exact same thing as P21S, but is marketed for motorcycles. I picked some up at a local Harley Davidson store for half the price of P21S.

I bought my P-21S during the 2003 auto show here in Los Angeles for $16.95 + tax.

i, too, have used pretty much every wax and polymer out there. i liked P21s and Zaino (i liked to call Sal and ask him questions and just to chitchat)... but, after the 1st year of giddy detailing, i get sooooo lazy... and the pilot, with all of its surface area, will not make it any better.

i'm going to klasse.

Klasse HGSG is very easy to apply just like AIO. You can put as many coat of HGSG as you want provided you wait 12hrs between coat. I usually put 1 coat of AIO, 2 coats of HGSG and 1 coat of P21s every 6 months on all my vehicles.

You talked me into it. I've ordered the HGSG and I'll top it off with the S100. Do you let the HGSG dry to a haze before removing it, or do you wipe it off immediately after application?

Just finished using the Klasse SG. I had thought the results after the Klasse AIO were amazing and couldn't get any better. Well, I was wrong. After one coat of SG, the paint is even slicker, and I've got an undistorted mirror shine. Easy on, easy off. If it lasts at least 6 months like they say, I'll be a really happy camper

I thought of that. But you know what? Pictures don't show sh_t. I've posted pictures of a dirty car and they look great on the computer. Guess you'll just have to take my word for it.
