Default Wow, what a chore...!!

Well, just washed the Pilot for the first time, and that was ALOT harder than any car i've cleaned before... there's alot more to it, first of all, and the roof is hard to get to obviously, but the rear tire came in handy, and the front entry step finished the job...

this is like every other Honda i've had though... water gets into all the cracks and only comes out after you think you've got it all dried off... Hondas are the worst at this IMO...

Cleaning the interior portion of the wheels was a nightmare... i bought this little brush to clean in there, and when i got home, there is like ZERO clearance in there.... well, i am exaggerating, but the brush took a beating... i did the fronts first, thinking the rears would be easier... YEAH RIGHT... there's a big ass brake dust shield back there that makes the rears worse than the fronts...

anyway, she looks like a million bucks when she's all cleaned up... added the rear splash guards today and the exhaust tips... looks alot better...

here's a few teaser pics... will post more tomorrow when i have proper lighting and surroundings for a photo shoot...

Nice looking Pilot pics! Whaddya call that house across the street, a tri-plex? Is that two one car garage townhouses attached to a double-wide two car-garage house?

The Pilot does have more nooks and crannies than a Thomas' English Muffin. Dry it off, open the hood, doors, and tailgate and wipe everything down, take it for a spin, then clean off the last of the water spots.

the places acorss the way there are 3 story with the garage being the first floor... and an extra living room behind the garage... only 1 car per unit...

only way they could get the garage in becuase there is not enough frontage...

Looks more like a quad-plex. I count four entrances and four garages.

i think he was referring to the 3 floors...?

cause if not, the units next to that one would be an "octo-plex"...

I see that fourth entrance on the far left now.

I use a step stool like this one (I also use it to trim the tall hedges).

As I work my way around drying, I usually open and close all the doors to make the water runs out of the door handles, mirrors, gaps etc... Then a quick touch up to get what runs out.

I use the blower on my shop vac with a small nozzle on the end to blow out all the nooks and crannys and wipe the water with a micro fiber towel. I cant stand any water spots or drip marks. With this method I get none. I suppose if I had a compressor it would work even better. Hey a new toy to buy.

Many people use their leaf blowers to get the last bits of water to jump out of the car. Similar to a quick drive at speed, I guess.
