I use very little. Barely enough to create a haze. When I mix it with the accelerator, I have enough to do the whole car with two coats, and enough left over for a third coat on the roof. Horizontal surfaces really take a beating from the sun.

The instructions on their web site are a little different than the bottle. One says 20 minutes, the other says at least 30 minutes. I've tried it every which way, once waiting an hour. Little difference.

The only thing I can think of is, I am in the habit of dampening and wringing out the applicator beforehand. Something that has been recommended by products I've used in the past, plus it seems to flow on a bit better. Next time, I'll try it dry.

There are a lot of people that swear by Zaino. I've never used it, but by reading their website it looks like too much work for me. I'll spend all day detailing my car, but to do the "whole 9 yards" it would take days with all the cure time. Go to Autopia and search the forums for Zaino. You'll find a lot of posts about it.

I have just tried Meguire's NXT (?) and Eagle One Nano wax. Both were very easy to apply and buff off. Eagle one has a promo to get your $$ back with a mail in coupon (up in Canada, which means you must have it in the US too). I was a believer in Nufinish for years, but these are better, and smell nicer.
Good luck.
