Post New Pilot interior leather cleaner & protector

I just bought Leather Care Gel from Armor All for my 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L
Has anyone used this product and were you pleased with results? Any other interior leather protector cleaners recommended? Thanks

Always used Lexol cleaner and conditioner. Not cheap but very good and goes a long way.

This is my first Leather interior car but from everything I've read on other forums Lexol seems to be the consensus choice for cleaning and protecting. I also like the fact it's available dang near everywhere now. Armorall may have changed formula's since the old days of 70% alcohol, but I still don't use it.

I have Lexol and AALC. Lexol every 6 months, AALC in between.

Lexol on my leather and Vinylex on everything else( almost) including my tires. Been using lexol products for years and nothing beats them for results and longevity ( tires remain black for longer, mostly cause its not a greazzy product)

I had never considered Lexol until I read this thread. I bought and used the cleaner and conditioner last night. Amazing performance. The cleaner was the secret. I've been using various Conditioner/cleaner combinations. But with my grey seats, none of them cleaned very well. They look like new now. And they aren't greasy afterwards. Use a white wash cloth for the cleaner and you'll be surprised how much dirt is being removed. Thanks for the tip.

If you love Lexol for leather, try Vinylex for all your rubber and vinyl.

I use Zaino Bros #9 and #10

Zaino Store

Z-10 brings the leather smell out in the car, if I have new riders in the car after an application they think that I just recently bought the car.

For the vinyl and plastic dash/console, I use Aerospace 303

While cleaning the passenger seat I noticed a tiny tear. Maybe a couple mm long. What is the best way to repair it to keep it from getting bigger? I looked at some kits on the web, but they seem like over kill for the size of this. Or is it not big enough to worry about?

All tears are big enough to worry about. This should be fixed.

How does the vinylex work on our cheap plastic dashes (09-11 pilots)? Is it too shiny or greasy, and does it leave a nice even finish with no spots? How does it look on the black plastic under the front and rear bumpers? I've heard many good things about it, and I'm going to try a bottle.

As for the leather care, I have considered Lexol cleaner and conditioner based on all the good reviews, however I've heard just as many good things about Griot's leather protectant (specifically how good and 'leathery' it smells) and I am going to order a bottle.

Vinylex is not greasy nor does it and excessive shine. What makes it great is that it is equality great on rubber, vinyl or plastic.

Ok but as asked, how? I think i have a slight tear as well. I would think some people use superglue to keep it from spreading but what's the offical word on leather repair?
