I know you've all seen that ShamWow commercial on late night TV. But, has anyone actually tried one of these for cleaning their Pilot? Does it work any better than a standard chamois?
I've seen them for sale at my local Bed, Bath & Beyond. With their weekly 20% off coupon it would be $16 plus tax for it and I have to admit that I'm thinking about it. Later, Larry.

I've come to prefer the synthetic chamois over the real ones. I don't know if there's anything special about sham wow. I do know that guy Vince annoys the p1$$ out of me and I wish he would get trapped in a burning car.

I've tried several brands of synthetic towels most do an adequate job for wipe downs and spot free quick drying. Although I don't have a Shamwow brand I have several that I use on the cars and some for the dogs after a bath or lake swim. I like that they grab a lot of liquids for their size and are washable to refresh them unlike leather chamois.

If you check out that infomercial closely, the part where he pours soda on the carpet, you will notice that the puddle of soda underneath the carpet changes midway through the demo.
We also received a ShamWow as a Christmas gift. It's okay. I think my microfiber towels do a better job of pure drying as the ShamWow tends to leave tiny little droplets on the finish.
