do the spots come out after washing? usually, i dry the windows with a shamois after washing, which prevents water spots. otherwise, i'd try windex.

Jay must be snoozing the last bit of summer or he would be here telling you about Stoner's Invisiglass. I tried some after hearing about it here and I will never use Windex again!

An old detailing trick is to use steel wool. Wet the windshield and use some car washing soap and gently scrub the windshield. Actually, you don't really have to be too gentle. Rinse, dry and check. If it still has a little residue, repeat procedure. This has always worked for me. Try it an let me know how it turns out.

50% White Vinegar and 50% water will remove the water spots. Boaters use this combo in a spray bottle to wipe down the boat with baked on spots after a day on the lake.
