Default glass cleaner

I still have residue on my window from the "window sticker" and was wondering what product safely removes this? Typically, Windex will not cut it. These stickers have some heavy duty "goop" on them that requires a solvent based cleaner. Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Rob C

I tried rubbing alcohol and it worked for me but it's not the best.

Paint thinner or Goo Gone will work, but don't get it on the paint obviously!
