i use a sponge and just try to squeeze my fingers through all the little spaces between the spokes. i can't get to the deeper parts, but nobody sees that anyway.
maybe you could remove the entire wheel...

Thanks for the tip. I verified with the Honda dealer that the insides of the wheels are not sealed, this the fast pitting and oxidation (this Pilot is only 3 months old).
I'll treat them with care. |

Why not just clean them and apply some clear coat, possibly the engine enamel type (high heat)
