Default Leather Cracking

My leather on my 2005 Pilot EX-L is beginning to crack slightly and i was wondering if there is any way to kinda "revive" them to looking new again???

Thanks

Sure,
You should clean the leather and condition it from time to time. I try to get out there a few times a year at least. I have used Lexol Cleaner and their Conditioner and have been happy with the results. There are other products out there as well.

Do a search on Leather and you'll probably dig up a few threads where cleaning the seats has been discussed.

I'm conditioning my leather with Maguiar's products and am wondering if the whole seat is leather or are parts leather, like the perforated section, and some parts vinyl?

Only the seating surfaces are leather. The sides, back and headrests are vinyl. This is true of all but the MOST expensive luxury cars.

The entire third row is vinyl.

Just finished cleaning / conditioning my exl w/ Maguiar's Gold Class. Leather feels soft, but not sticky. Is there a cure time for these conditioners? We have a car seat that needs to go back in.

Also, is it necessary to condition the vinyl 3rd row?

05exlowner,

I've used Leather CPR in the past with great results. Linked below. Give it a try.

Hi -
The products mentioned, such as zaino, meguires, lexol - they all - I believe - contain petroleum products.

I've found out about something called leatherique that is a natural product with collagen in it that actually absorbs into the leather and might help in your case.

it is at leatherique.com

I'm planning on ordering a gallon and splitting it up if there is any interest on this board.

What's a good product to use to protect the parts of the seat that aren't leather (vinyl).

Thanks
