Default Review: Shop-Vac 2.5 Gallon

Just picked up a Shop Vac 2.5 gallon from Lowes yesterday for $29.99. It featured a bonus package of micro attachments - designed for clearing computers, computer accessories, and other small electronics.

Definitely worth the $30 - more than sufficient power (2 HP peak) to clean up dirt and debris efficiently. It fits nicely in the seats as well as on top of the console when you're cleaning the interior. The filteration system is pretty well designed (as it is a wet/dry vac). Another great feature is the blower port.

2 hp sounds a bit weak so I hope you're happy with it. I bought a Rigid 4-gal. / 5hp vac at Home Depot last year. I don't remember what I spent, but I opted for power over volume ... and it really sucks.

I went with the 5 gal Craftsman wall mounted version, it nice to not have to carry it around. It has a 25-30 ft hose that can clean the car in the garage or in the driveway without removing it. Rigid also makes a wall mounted one of similar specs.
