Default Garden hose

I accidentally bumped my front bumper with my garden hose as I was tryign to rinse my car off... would that do any damage? I didn't do it hard, but it did hit the bumper..

would my car be okay after this?

thanks

How fast did you bump into it? What do think it would damage?

I think given your two threads (Sand on car) that you are way too sensitive.

It will get dirty it will be bumped by carless drivers and shopping carts.

Its as certain as death and taxes

That's quite a speculative question to ask, granted a situation like that is not best described in words. Why don't you take a close look yourself (as the car is where you are located, I presume), and assess to see if there was any damage? And to ask if your car would be "okay" - okay in what sense? In that it will start up in the morning and drive straight and come to a stop when the brake pedal is depressed? I would stick my neck out there and say that it should be "okay." The incident with the garden hose is seemingly unrelated to the "okayness" of the car, so you should be able to sleep better tonight.

You need a rubber hose nozzle. Just be careful not to lay it down in the sand, then rub it against the car.

Since we're off-topic and going into that direction... Jay, have you seen these things yet?

http://redlinetuning.com/QL-SCION-XB.html

I'm thinking about getting a pair for my Tacoma.

I hadn't seen them. The xB hood is easy to lift, though. If they had an installation that used existing holes, I might consider it. I don't even want to add an OEM spoiler because it requires drilling. I don't want to create a chance for rust where none existed before. But thanks for the link.

And OCDetails could moderate that forum.

Not sure if he can get rid of it. Went the hose hit, I'm sure all air bags deployed leaving it hard to drive. perhaps he filled it with sand, and made a cool sandbox for his kids
