Default Using clay bar on your pilot?

Has any one tried this before. I have a neighbor who swears by it. He has a 04 Accord and he used it on his car before the dealer did there their wash and and wax to remove any water spots or pollutants. I read the box for the stuff at my local advanced auto parts. It states that it will remove any water spots or any fine material from the clear coat with out harming or removing it. Mothers is the manufacture of the clay bar detailer

I started claying with the Pilot. It makes a world of difference if you clay before waxing, even on a brand spanking new car.

If you simply search for clay bar in this section (Detailing) you will find numerous threads discussing the use of a clay bar.

Good Luck!

Anyone know if one is better than the other? I bought the "Clay Magic" one. I am waiting till the Spring to do that huge job though. Is the Mothers one better? Does it matter?

I think they're all pretty much the same, just as long as they do the job.

I use the Clay Magic bar, and I'm pleased with the results.
