Default Acorn Damage!

I gave my 2005 pilot a wash yesterday and was surprised to find numerous small dents in the hood from acorns. There is a large Oak tree in the front yard that has been dropping acorns on our cars for years but the Pilot is the first one to actually be damaged by them. It's a disappointment. I am not sure what to do about it except park in the street until all the acorns are off the tree.

On another note there is some residue on the paint from bird droppings or acid rain that leaves very faint white marks on the paint. they wont scrub off with car wash soap and a rag. can anyone recommend something that will remove them.

Thanks.

You have to get to bird poop the instant you spot it. neutralize the acid and get it off promptly

I had the same problem last year on my new Pilot. Eight dents in the roof and hood. The local paintless dent remover did a fantastic job . It's as good as new.

How much did the dent removal cost?

They are not very noticeable. I would have taken some pictures but I think I would have a hard time getting the dents to show up in the pic.
