Will dealer throw in running boards?

Hello! I will probably be picking up a 2016 pilot today, just wanted to ask if anyone has had any luck with the dealer throwing in a set of running boards with the purchase.

I'm going to try later this evening, thanks!

All depends on how much you pay for the vehicle... How much were you quoted and is it a new 2016 (vs new 2017) or used?

All based on your negotiation skills...if you are a great negotiator you can get anything! Just don't get caught with the smoke and mirrors. They might throw in running boards but you can bet they are making up for it elsewhere.

The dealer is always the winner as they won't sell a car for a loss. Good luck in negotiating your deal!

Tough to stay in business selling at a loss, and pretty certain giving away running birds still won't put them at a loss.
If they think they already have you on hook, you're not going to get much,if anything . You've got to be ready to walk away.

I used my Costco Vehicle program... No Hassle purchase... Straight to the point on what you get.. Test drive the Pilot .. get what you want on the vehicle that you test drive.. See where they are on the Price..
I personally ordered my running boards and roof racks etc.. Off amazon or CARID. Easy to install.... Costco program did not have any deals for Touring or ELITE.. EXL was the choice I got.. I got the new Honda Pilot EX-L 2016 model out the door $34500
