Another fun and exciting luncheon held by the honda-pilot.org DC Metro Area chapter...
The weather definitely cooperated -- nice sunny day with temps in the lower 60's F. The luncheon was held at the Tastee Freez Restaurant in Laurel, MD. I'm only going to post "some" of the pictures that I took with my digicam -- I'm sure the other Piloteers will jump in with their thoughts and opinions of today's gathering!!! A total of nine Pilots showed up:

From another angle...
...I'm not sure why four of the Pilot rear hatches are open??? Ziploc was an instant baby-sitter for my 2-1/2 year old son (keeping him out of harm's way in the parking lot -- Thanks "Z"!!!

The center console pads that wwong shipped to me were handed out to all who showed up -- each Pilot owner received three of them!!!
clarity was the winner of the Power Racer Honda Pilot diecast model -- I ended up giving it away as a freebie!!! Everyone checked out each other's Pilot and accessories before and after eating lunch...

Great pictures. Just noticed something. No one has a bra. The mini meet, all three Pilots has bras. Must be a California thing...

wwong, you'll be happy to know that fully one third of us had the pad set, and you can expect at least one more request.

Today's meet was a load of fun. What better way to spend a crisp autumn afternoon than with a bunch of Pilot enthusiasts, swapping great stories and showing off the things that made each unique.
We collected a few data points to share. 1. Shortest drive to the meet- clarity. Great place to meet, too. Glad we could help her fulfill a dream of having a car meet at the Tastee Freez. 2. Longest drive to the meet- Mark B. He drove in from New Jersey, and has a collector's item Pilot - in the discontinued Havasu color. 3. and 4. Newest/lowest mileage Pilot- DanL. His Pilot was built last month, and he took deliver Sept. 30. It had only 911 miles on it, and that great new car smell was detectable 4 feet away from an open door. 5. and 6. Oldest/highest mileage Pilot- jay. His Pilot was built in May of '02, and he bought his the first day the Pilot was officially for sale in the U.S.- June 3, 2002. His Pilot has 22,129 miles on it. Interestingly, Starlight Silver, the most predominant Pilot color, was under-represented. Only jay and Ziploc had Silver Pilots. Sandstone was the predominant color at the meet, with kemosabe, DanL, and weekendpilot driving Sandstone Pilots. Not represented at the meet were Evergreen Pearl (discontinued), Tafetta White, RedRock Pearl, and Midnight Blue (new for '04). We're already starting to talk about the next meet!

Here's a shot showing weekendpilot, jay, Mark B, Mr. mca3851, and guitarman discussing world economics and national politics while we were waiting for Mr. & Mrs. Ziploc to show up (their Silver Pilot ended up parking on the far right):

Actually Mark B has "clear bra". Oops. his pilot has the clear bra applied. Thank you for the pads. I'll check the other thread on where to put it.
