Smile Everyone's Safe!!!

After our late Piloteers Ziploc and aerostar45 checked in (here on honda-pilot.org last night), we now know that everyone made it back home safe and sound!!!

Ziploc: Thanks for adding additional memories captured on disk to the photo gallery!!! Also, a hearty thanks for being the liason between us and the Cozy Restaurant!!!!

aerostar45: Please post your pictures, too, when you get a chance!!! (If anyone else has shots, please add them, too!!! )

weekendpilot & aerostar45: Sorry I didn't get much of a chance to chat with the two of you yesterday since we were on opposite ends of that long table...

While I don't have any personal experience, I've read that this deduction is an "audit flag," that is, it increases your chance of an audit. I've also heard of problems in Maryland, when the vehicle is ticketed after its long gone, and the ticket gets tagged back to the former owner.

Great photos Ziploc!!! Isn't it neat to finally match up faces with names?? As I have mentioned here before, I attend "gatherings" a couple times a year for fellow riders of the ST1100 motorcycle. My recent trip to New York was such an event. I love to ride - but the next best thing is meeting people and socializing (READ: Kick tires and tell lies) after I get there.

Again - great photos and thanks for posting them!

How to "glare" out the license plate?

I am about to post the picture but couldn't find a way to glare out the license plate like Kemo and WeekendPilot did. Can you two give me an idea how to do that? Thanks!

Why do people do this? Never have understood why many of the pictures you see on line have the license number smeared out.

No question about that - but they have the same opportunity to see my license plate anytime I have my vehicle out of my garage! Heck, they can look me up in the phone book easier and simply call me!

What a great photo of the group, weekendpilot...a little more tightly framed!!! You can hardly tell we're getting drenched.... we're still on a good buzz after a filling meal and great conversation! Thanks again for lending me that eye-catching orange/white umbrella, weekendpilot! With the beautiful blue skies that morning, we didn't bring ours along (pretty dumb, given all the rain we've had). And thanks to those (sorry, forget exactly who) who took Mr. Ziploc's camera and snapped off some of the group pics.

Last--but far from least--I think I can speak for everyone in thanking kemosabe for initiating the idea of a MD/DC/VA Pilot meet and for all his efforts in promoting it and keeping track of attendees.

Mr. Ziploc and I had a fantastic time and really enjoyed meeting such fine people. I can't help but already look forward to the time we can get together again!!!

Well, that's all I have to hear about that idea. I am very conservative about taking deductions. I don't want to have to go through life worrying that there is going to be a letter in the mailbox from the IRS. Thanks a ton for that info!
