I installed my SilverStars some time in late 2002 (whenever I created that "SilverStar results" thread that's still floating around here somewhere). One of them died in December of 2003 and the other is still working just fine. I start work early in the morning, so I always have my lights on for my 25 minute drive to work. Other than that I don't have what I would consider any more of a disproportionate night driving schedule than anybody else. Even if they last only 1 year on average it's worth the difference to me. It only takes 20 seconds to swap. In fact, the one I purchased in december I swapped at night in the parking lot of the Advance Autoparts I bought it from. It takes more effort to get the gas cap to stay on the holder when refueling than it does to swap one of these lights!
