Default Best Honda Service Station??

Where's the best place to bring your Honda Pilot in for service? I'm on Long Island, and need a 60k miles service and have a few other things checked out as well....

Thanks!

I do most of my own maintenance but my girlfriend takes her accord to Honda City in Levittown, she has had good results.

My co-worker has gon religeously to Huntington honda and is happy with them.

We had a very bad experience with millenuim honda in hempstead and the guys in babylon honda are ok.

Talking Yup! Huntington Honda Service Dept.

That places rock. Specially the Service person name Alex Tinirello. Very nice and helpful person. I have been going there ever since I bought my Pilot there. I have my father and my brother go there for the vehicle service. I even had my old 94 Civic sedan done there for a engine over head gasket change. My regular mechanic is charging me $500 less but I have to wait for 1 week to drop off my car and wait for a week to get it back. I went to Huntington Honda Service to do the job I request for a loaner car and it took three days to do the job. The car drives like it had a new engine put in. Eventhough I paid $500.00 more I got a loaner car for three days, new head gasket, thermostat, in-take gasket which they include in the amount I had paid.

That place tend to get busy, try making an appt. in wednesday or thursday. Be there before seven coz the garage door gets to crowded, try to drop-off the car the nite before or come early or in the afternoon. Always call if they are busy or not which is theyre always busy.

Good luck!

Default me again!

I do most of my oil change, tranny oil and VTM-4 change. Since I had been busy I couldn't change my brakes and its a bit time consuming, coz you might have to cut the rotors. I just had my pilot front and rear brakes done a couple of days. Again, I ask my mechanic but he is to busy. I put it off for another two week. The front steering start wobbling when brake har or an immediate stop, very but coz of the thin pads left. I couldnt wait for my mechanic which he is been putting me off. I call Alex T. make an appt. drop-off the pilot. service drop me off my work around the vicinity and I had my wife pick me up to pick-up the car. Pilot is back. They cut the front and rear rotors and place new pads, and lube the caliper, other plates. I had no problem on the pilot, it runs and brake great. Tomorrow its fathers day I will change the oil in the early morning so the kids and wife is still sleeping, then wash the pilot and civic.

Default Re: Yup! Huntington Honda Service Dept.

I've taken my S2000 to Huntington Honda for an inspection, and even though it was just an inspection, I was quite pleased on how they did business. Service area was very clean, service people there were very nice, and they did it in a reasonably quick amount of time.

I want to take my Pilot in and have it serviced for a couple small things, but also, I wanted to see if my car needed any recalls done on it.

How much did you pay for the loaner car? Or is that a service they provide for you free-of-charge?

Its the cost of the service. loaner car is free. I haven't not paid for mine. The wait is probably for a week. Call for an appt. and request for a loaner car. The trick is if you have a repair that will cost for an amount of $500 and up. you should request for a loaner. It might be a week of wait but its worth it. Also if you been going there for the past years and they have a record in there system. They will provide you a loaner car for free. And if you buy the car there.

Default Loaner Car!

Two years ago, I had my front passenger door actuator change without any charge coz of the extended warranty is still cover, then I include my front brakes done, EGR done, the rattle rear brake shim done with no charge with a loaner car request, free of charge. in one day.

Just an FYI, the parts department at Huntington Honda rocks!! I got my Honda key copied with the transponder done for $30!!! Also, they almost always give me a discount from retail prices for everything I buy there. Definitely excellent service!!!!!
